Role: Creative Direction / Brand Designer

I enjoy helping start-up business create their branding; giving direction and advice on how to tackle the many design-led challenges they may face. This project was for Italian-owned ‘Il Salotto’, a hair salon in the heart of Soho, London.

After many a conversation, the owners decided they wanted something a little art-deco influenced, but with a slightly modern twist. The vertical cuts through the type are influenced by strands of hair, perhaps a more graphic representation.
